My Journey Into Tarot
My journey into this world began years ago, sparked by my sister-in-law, Angie. Whenever my husband and I visited family in Calgary, I found myself drawn to her space—shelves filled with books, tarot decks carefully placed, and crystals thoughtfully arranged throughout her home. That sense of wonder stayed with me, and naturally, I wanted to understand more.

When I first began learning Tarot, I quickly discovered that memorizing individual card meanings was only one small part of understanding the deck. I wanted to understand how the cards connected, why certain symbols appeared, how numbers and elements shaped their meanings, and how the Major Arcana told a larger story.
That search for deeper understanding became the foundation for Beginner Tarot Mastery — Following the Fool’s Journey.
This course was created to help beginners move beyond memorization and begin seeing Tarot as a connected language of symbols, stories, patterns, and archetypes.
From that search for deeper understanding came the idea for Mystic Sanctum—an online space for those who feel the same curiosity and pull toward Tarot. This is a place to begin, or continue, your own journey: to explore, question, reflect, and grow. I have much to share, and even more to learn, and I look forward to building meaningful connections through this space.
At its core, learning Tarot isn’t just about memorizing meanings or following a system. True understanding develops through reflection, practice, intuition, and connection. My hope is that Mystic Sanctum can be a steady and supportive guide as you explore the cards, discover their deeper layers, and begin developing your own relationship with Tarot.
Let’s explore, learn, and discover—together.
